Disaster Reconstruction
When disaster strikes, getting your business back to normal as fast as possible is critical. But if you have to find and hire an unfamiliar company for your reconstruction needs, it could take weeks or even months to get back up and running. Our agile teams can jump in at full speed. In our Direct-To-Vendor model, we reduce downtime significantly since we already have standardization in place and likely have materials in stock to begin millwork construction.
We received the first call on Tuesday, June 14th. We jumped in, made site visits, met with contractor’s teams and worked long hours. Drawings were done on napkins and made critical contracting decisions via text messages.
By Monday morning, we had submitted 60 pages of shop drawings. Revisions were made and by Saturday, we were told to proceed with submittals and order materials. Our engineering team was on standby waiting for the go ahead. They went into action. We staffed up and approved overtime for our internal teams.
By July 18th, all product was on the job site and our installation teams were ready to roll. We received a call from the contractor, requesting to add 40% more work to the project. We knew we had to make it happen. We put together a plan and got the job done on time. The entire project was completed in 54 days from start to finish.
